The Power of Consistency
People underestimate the power in consistency. If you’re living for God or even promoting your #business or product, be consistent. Consistency is not plastering the same post nine thousand times or trying to meme your way into heaven. Consistency in your faith or brand is all about what your public and private display is. There’s a whole lot of people who say one thing and do the opposite. The number of “positive” and “righteous” folks who publicly flip flop depending upon whatever their emotions dictate for the moment is disgusting.
The only thing I believe when someone is positive one second and savage the next is that the person is double minded and unstable.
If you want to see success in any area of your life? Stop complaining and be consistent. Consistency will open more doors then social media temper tantrums.
Success: Not everyone will support you, deal with it.
Have you ever seen Oprah, Martha Stewart, Jeff Bezos, Steve Jobs, or Bill Gates whine by meme all over social media about who’s supporting them? Of course not, that’s not something successful minded people waste time doing. If you find yourself angered enough to publicly address it? You’re not winning. How are you going to grow into a billion dollar CEO if you can’t even control your emotions on the internet? Think about it….
Last words of 2016
So many people want the end result but not the “process”. It doesn’t matter how “good” you are at something, everything has a process. Often times many people give up right before their breakthrough. You can never have more of this, without getting more of that. Remember that. Everything comes with a price, so don’t envy what someone else has because you have no idea the price they paid to get there.

#WednesdayWisdom Are you truly a giver?
We have all heard it’s far better to give then receive and most of us even consider ourselves a giver to some degree. A true giver though, gives out of a genuine place which is a place that has no self serving motives behind it.
A gift is a gift. When the gift giving is used as leverage (I.e brought up later and thrown in someone’s face, or posted on social media so everyone can see you’re a giver, etc) is cancels the kindness, voids the genuine aspect.
I have learned that the true test of giving comes when you do something for someone who can never repay you. Most people relate giving to material things but this isn’t always the case. Most people are comfortable with giving until it makes them uncomfortable.
People are often times more comfortable with giving you a material item before giving you a sincere congratulations. Isn’t that crazy? Most people are okay with buying you a meal, but it’s almost impossible for them to be happy for you, especially if you get something they want or need for themselves. I have found though that this is a true measure of the condition of your heart. Are you able to pray for someone’s healing when you yourself are sick? Are you able to celebrate a marriage if your own is in turmoil? Are you able to congratulate someone’s success while you yourself are grinding away? Now ask yourself, are you truly a giver?
#WednesdayWisdom Are you prepared?
Are you prepared or are you a bang & fizzle? A bang & fizzle person is someone who has a million ideas, starts with a bang but ends with a fizzle. They never really see anything through to the end and eventually just have a million ideas that have all started with a bang but all ended with a fizzle. I’ve done it myself especially when I was a brand new entrepreneur. I have learned through my years of experience (both successes and failures) that a lot of the time the reason for the fizzle is unpreparedness.
This doesn’t relate to only business though, often times we are not even prepared for the things we desire or are praying for. Sometimes we even can find ourselves frustrated when we have an idea or vision that we feel in our heart is the right thing to do or something God gave us but then it doesn’t quite fall into place like we expect or as quickly as we thought it would. We can’t receive new blessings with an old mindset. People pray for a spouse without making any preparation to actually be a spouse . People want to start a business but never actually sit down and write a business plan. People want to go back to school but never figure out how they’re going to re-arrange their schedule to fit in time for class and homework. People think they’re ready for a promotion but lack the ability to control their own emotions which directly impacts your ability to lead anything. So many people want to break into the music game but never research how much of their own money they’ll have to invest in order to generate a buzz. There’s a whole lot of folks praying for the winning power ball numbers and think all of their problems in life will be solved with millions of dollars but they can’t even wisely manage a tax refund. The list goes on and on.
If you ever sit down with a successful person and ask them how they became so successful, the first thing they’ll normally tell you is about is all the time they were unsuccessful. Don’t compare your journey to someone else’s or envy what someone else has because you have no idea what they went through or sacrificed to get there. If you believe in the vision you have, take the time to prepare for it properly. Do your research, date yourself, learn how to budget, and do whatever else is necessary to help you be in the best position to receive what you’re asking for or working towards.

Reaping & sowing actually means working and working. Some folks are under the impression that “reaping” or success means sitting back with your feet up while good things happen or the money rolls in and nothing could be further from the truth. “Success” or “elevation” is never going to look like how you pictured it. You can’t have more of one thing without the other (hence why wheat and weeds grow together until harvest time). If you have more money you have more expenses, more influence more people that don’t like you, etc. You can’t have one thing without getting the other. If you desire to make an impact? Best believe it’s not going to unfold like how you pictured it but you’ll know it’s happening the moment it appears like all hell has broken loose around you. A lot of people say they want things but have no idea the price tag they actually come with nor are they equipped to even handle what they’re asking for, not to mention don’t have the work ethic. You want God to give you a million but you act like a fool with a tax return, you want a million dollars but you’re the laziest employee at your job. Some folks would actually kill themselves if they got exactly what they’re asking for right now and the other half are sitting around right now complaining because they got exactly what they asked for.
Seeking Success
God wants you to be successful. But success takes sacrifice. Most people are not willing to suffer what it actually takes to be successful & just desire the end result. Those that are willing often don’t achieve success (only about 1% of people actually do) because they’ve failed to realize God allows you to be successful so that you can be a servant with that success. Whatever gifts & talents you’ve been blessed with are never for your own personal gain. If more of us would learn to bless with what we have off the rip instead of only being moved when we see what’s in it for us and instead just be exceedingly glad we’re in a position to meet a need, we’d see a lot more success among us.

When you can own a vision in your heart that is so righteous… GOD WILL BLESS IT. Then, every situation that happens to try & distract you? Get tunnel vision and YOU WILL SEE IT. People that are crazy enough to believe that they can change the world… OFTEN DO.

I was just thinking that I’ve been so slammed with #OPERATIONREVOLUTION it’s been a minuet since I have blogged any of the traditional QTP wisdom. So I need to pause for the cause. I think I’m going to make this a combination of hip-hop and #REALTALK.
Anyone who has met me in the arena of music will tell you, I just do things differently. Fam, I have been SNAKED in ways I can’t even wrap my own mind around sometimes but I don’t let it change me. I learned on a long hard road that the secret that unlocks blessing is love. What other people do to you is about them, not you. Only hurting people hurt other people. It’s not an excuse it’s the way it is. You have got to learn to take the hits and keep going.
Now this is extremely dangerous in the music industry because most people have no idea the jungle it is. People will lie, cheat, steal, and stab their own Momma just to get on top. They do these things with no remorse because they move at a speed faster then anything you could imagine and unless you have seen it with your own eyes, you will never understand. I can tell you that the reason we are successful is because we don’t operate like that. People forget a very simple principle, if you do right, blessing happens. You do wrong and you reap that, somehow, someway, someday. You don’t even have to be perfect, but you at least have to make an effort. We got folks out here acting like they had no home training at all… ever.
