Goodbye 2020
2020.
It’s amazing how fast a year can fly by yet seem to last forever. December of 2019 was when Heaven Razah / Hell Razah was diagnosed with cancer. We rolled into 2020 with a date for surgery in February.
After some complications, he was released from the hospital March 9, 2020 and on March 13, 2020 w everybody was on house arrest because of the corona virus. For Thanksgiving this year we both battled a round with the corona virus.
But despite personal battles and the chaotic state of the world? God has blessed me this year beyond measure. I’ve been working from home, bought a home and have been spending an obscene amount of time with the people I love most.
I have though been missing in action via blog, music wise and social media. So if you’re one of the people who has supported me in anyway over the years just know that you are appreciated. Sometimes life requires us to unplug and recharge and I think most of you can relate to that.
2020 to me is going to be remembered as the year most people basically went nuts. I had that shalom peace though. Knowing that God is with you is powerful. I’m actually excited with anticipation for what’s next. I’ll tell you what though, getting right with God should be a top priority. The clock is ticking, pay attention.
It is sincerely my hope that you have a blessed and healthy New Year!

Happy New Year 2018
There are two things that everyone has. #Purpose and #Potential. It’s those same two things far too many people leave this earth without ever tapping in to or maximizing. Laziness, pity parties, lack of motivation, sense of entitlement, and distorted views of work ethic play a major part in that but at the end of the day? YOU and YOU alone are the only person responsible for what you do with your purpose and potential. Many people wait on the big things they know #God is capable of blessing them with but how can He entrust you with a business if you can’t manage a budget? Why do you deserve millions and you can’t manage a tax return? How do you deserve to be a “boss” and you don’t even show up on time? So instead of “New Year, New Me” how about this year, you maximize what you’ve been sitting on this entire time?

Last words of 2016
So many people want the end result but not the “process”. It doesn’t matter how “good” you are at something, everything has a process. Often times many people give up right before their breakthrough. You can never have more of this, without getting more of that. Remember that. Everything comes with a price, so don’t envy what someone else has because you have no idea the price they paid to get there.

It’s not about the whole “new year, new me” that everyone pokes fun at. It’s about realizing, FOR REAL that if you keep doing the same old thing you’re going to get the same old results. Some of us have been so broken most of our lives that we lack the ability to set boundaries in our life. If we could all only see ourselves the way God sees us, there’s no way we would allow half the nonsense that distracts us and wastes precious moments of life that we will NEVER get back. No matter how much money you do or don’t have you can’t buy more time. Some people it is far better to love at a distance and every situation or opportunity that rolls across your path isn’t for you and just because you have prayed for something or desire something doesn’t mean it’s God when it shows up. Be wise, stop letting the same old things and the same old situations rob you of your destiny. I wish you all a blessed New Year, be safe.

Happy Holidays Family!
Just wanted to share some quick words with you all for the holidays. I’ve been away from the blog for a month or so due to some insane circumstances that I will definitely update you all on shortly, but I wanted to make sure I share something before we all get lost in the holiday / New Year shuffle.
I have learned recently just how important it is to make sure that whatever gifts God gives you? They do not belong to you, they belong to Him. Sometimes when we take our gifts into our own hands and do what we “think” is the best thing for them, really isn’t at the end of the day. Sometimes doing things our way only slows down or hinders the growth of the original design. I know that I need to always remember that my way is not always God’s way. I think most of us at one time or another just become impatient because we want things in a hurry so sometimes we may accept the counterfeit blessing which normally surfaces before the actual.
I also have been reminded that you have got to test the fruit of the tree before you partake and declare it good for food. Fam, people can say anything. At the end of the day, what is important is what they do and the true fruit of a person, business, organization, etc. is evident in the consistent fruit it bears. For example, a celebrity that gives away toys at Christmas right before tax season doesn’t qualify them as a giving person if they do nothing all year round. A person can say they stand for something but if in all actuality their actions are not consistent with that claim? It’s not real.
Be kind, be patient, be humble, but most of all be consistent. From my family to yours, happy holidays and I wish you all a healthy & prosperous New Year! –QTP
