Faith in action

Faith is an action word, it’s supposed to be aggressive not passive. People of faith shouldn’t be quietly sitting in the corner twiddling their thumbs, hanging on till Jesus comes. If God gave you a dream and a vision, your role in that is to do whatever is reasonably within your power to do and He will do the rest. God gives us all gifts and talents but your testimony isn’t going to sound like “well God gave me this idea, I sat on it for as long as I could and one day it magically jumped off the table, came to life and the end”. Sometimes we’re sitting around crying about our situation or finances and the answer you’re seeking He already gave us but because it’s not currently convenient or what we feel like hearing, we just waste time. God NEVER promised this walk would be convenient, but He did say He shall supply all your needs, He wants you to live abundantly, lack no good thing, etc. so get up, get aggressive in your faith and do the possible. God will do the impossible.

Be kind

Not everybody is able to work from home. Some of the most underpaid people in the workforce have been deemed essential. They are TIRED. Be kind, be a blessing when you get a delivery, gas, groceries, etc. It won’t kill you to tell one of these folks you appreciate them & thank you. Speaking life and encouragement into someone doesn’t cost you a thing but that little acknowledgement can go a long way.

Perfectly imperfect

God has never required that we be perfect in order for Him to use us to uplift, inspire, & encourage others. Human “better than, less than” stinkin thinkin is responsible for that. Don’t let anybody ever convince you that you were not created with purpose.

Risen the story of Chron “Hell Razah” Smith documentary released

Very excited to announce that the long awaited story of Chron “Hell Razah/ Heaven Razah” Smith has been officially released!

This is not just a story about hip-hop.
This is a human story that anyone who has ever battled a illness, acquired a disability, had it all and lost it all, or been a caregiver can relate to. It transcends the label of a a hip-hop story and is one of victory, defeat, compassion, faith, inspiration, encouragement and comeback.

Chron Smith survived a brain aneurism in 2010 and in 2020 after the filming of this documentary, survived cancer. God has preserved this man alive with purpose.

The value of a consistent friend

There’s always going to be people who only know you when they need something from you. Honestly that used to offend me and make me feel some type of way. It doesn’t now though. Not at all. I’ve come to realize people call me when they need something because I am consistent. I thank God for that gift. Sure sometimes it sucks when yet another one bites the dust, BUT walking around as an angry, bitter, resentful, inconsistent selfish “the world owes me” kinda person is far worse than a moment of hurt feelings. I sure don’t have a lot of “friends” but that’s okay because I prefer quality over quantity. 🤷🏻‍♀️❤️

#WednesdayWisdom How you livin?

Fruit for thought

“Good enough” is not your destiny

Conduct Matters.

How we behave on and off social media and how we treat others will preach a louder sermon then our lips ever will.

The peaceful place

Life happens. There are plenty of things that will happen to each and every single one of us.

Fully and completely trusting God is the only way to make peace with the things or situations that have robbed (or are attempting to rob) your peace.

He works ALL THINGS together for your good, even the the things that feel like they’re going to break you. We are broken to be made and stripped to be equipped.

Happy 2020!

“And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.”

‭‭Romans‬ ‭8:28‬ ‭NKJV‬‬
