You can’t use “God not stopping me” as an excuse for something you knew you shouldn’t do but did anyway. There’s ALWAYS a way of escape. Using it is entirely up to you. Every single time I ignored that? I was sorry. I don’t know about you, but I can’t afford any avoidable setbacks at this point in my life. 🤷🏻♀️

The real world VS. The internet
I realize that I frequently make references to this subject matter in my posts, but with each post it doesn’t become less relevant. Here’s the way I see it, even if just one person reads it and it helps them focus on the things that truly matter in real life like their family, relationships, hopes, dreams, and goals? It was well worth it.
The internet is a tool and too many people have allowed it to become the dictator of their reality. Too many people are starved for real human to human interaction and many don’t even know how to communicate socially face to face without discussing the internet. When was the last time you had a personal conversation and absolutely no references were made to some sort of online activity? Have you been to a store lately? Most cashiers have their phone in their hand. Most people can’t even enjoy a social gathering without checking their phone.
What’s more disturbing is that there is crisis everywhere in the world and people forget about disaster as soon as a new post flies through their feed. People (human beings) are lost, sick, struggling, and hurting all over the planet and most people are too busy posting their comments about it instead of actually getting involved or at least trying to be an agent of change. If you found yourself in the middle of a crisis or you have loved ones that are, I’m sure you appreciate the people who have decided to put down their phones long enough to get involved.
You are not “woke”, a revolutionary or any other sort of agent of change if all you do is fall into the peanut gallery comment section of the internet. Stop allowing yourself to be so self absorbed and distracted. Get involved, do something that matters, & enjoy your real life.
People of God: Hold your position
This has been in my heart to speak for a few days.

Don’t give up. Don’t quit. Hold your position, it’s coming.
May the grace of of lord and savior Jesus Christ be with you always. Amen.

#NEW Advice Column “Ask QTP” Submission Instructions
Seeing as how it’s the first day of March (2015), what better way to jump into a new season then to launch something new? (Not to mention, March is Social Worker’s month!) I’d like to take the time to introduce to you a brand new blog section (that you now can find right at the top of the home screen menu bar via queentheprophet.com) “Ask QTP” which will be a good o’l fashioned advice column.
I regularly get approached on my social media handles with questions about something I posted or just people reaching out for some advice or insight on a certain subject matter that I posted and most of the time I’m being asked something that a lot of people could probably benefit from. So, I decided to give this a whirl and we’ll see how it goes. Please read the submission instructions carefully below. As always, thank you for reading & your continued support!

- Your inquiry should be an actual situation or question you would like answered or expounded on. I will be more then happy to answer personal questions as long as the content is reasonably appropriate

Greetings –
It’s been awhile since I’ve updated the blog, but here I am!
Over the next week or so I’m going to post some back dated stuff that should have gone up already, so bare with me! Pretty much the entire month of April I was out of commission due to health reasons, and that was some scary stuff but by the grace of God all is well.
Having some in-hospital time really can pause you and cause you to change your perspective on a lot of things. For me this was the first time I was ever bed ridden and let me tell you, sitting still has never been a strength of mine (just ask any of my elementary school teachers) so this was entirely new for me. My situation also posed a set of challenges that most people don’t have to deal with. My significant other walks with a cane so naturally me being the primary caregiver in my home and being unable to do so scared me to death. I actually had to hit a point within myself during the hospital stay where I realized there were somethings I just did not and could not do anything about because of my circumstances and I had to just deal with it. Funny thing though, as soon as I got at peace with having no control over my situation, is when God stepped in. I have got to say though, the grace of God is a beautiful thing. Grace is favor just because. Not because we deserve it or did anything special, just because. What looked like it was going to be a disaster actually worked in our favor! My Hunny learned how to become a lot more independent then before, I actually got some much needed rest, and some folks we least expected stepped in to help and overall? It was quite the experience.

KEEP RECEIPTS, EMAILS, TEXT MESSAGES …. EVERYTHING anytime you exchange money for a service. INVESTIGATE who you are doing business with! Fam, there are too many people out here that WILL take your money and not care. Unless it’s a significant amount of money (this means MORE then what it’s going to cost you hiring a lawyer and going to small claims court) you’re going to get robbed. Who hires a lawyer to chase down $25 for a MXTP slot? Nobody. That’s EXACTLY what these bastards bank on. They do that to 4 people they just made a quick $100.
My personal #HipHop robbery was for thousands and at the hands of a “FRIEND”. So…when things like this happen we can let it make us miserable people and go head and put more negative stuff in the atmosphere OR we can start giving stuff away and provoke favor to move on our behalf. I told you I was the Robin Hood of #HipHop…. Any other questions?
