The value of a consistent friend

There’s always going to be people who only know you when they need something from you. Honestly that used to offend me and make me feel some type of way. It doesn’t now though. Not at all. I’ve come to realize people call me when they need something because I am consistent. I thank God for that gift. Sure sometimes it sucks when yet another one bites the dust, BUT walking around as an angry, bitter, resentful, inconsistent selfish “the world owes me” kinda person is far worse than a moment of hurt feelings. I sure don’t have a lot of “friends” but that’s okay because I prefer quality over quantity. 🤷🏻‍♀️❤️
