Greetings Fam!

Now you know, I always talk about topics in regards to myself because I can’t speak for anyone else. There is something I have learned over the course of life and my career that if you can learn it before you go through it, I promise you will save yourself a lot of annoyance.

Fam, people are going to talk about you, people are going to assume things, people are going to lie on you, and people are going to not like you. Nobody likes everybody and if you live your life to be a people pleaser? You will find yourself stressed & depressed. The only person you ever should be worried about impressing is God and he requires a lot less then the people walking the earth. REAL TALK.  There are people in this world that stand before million dollar ministries, claim God and all they do is twist facts and present it as truth. Now if the devils walking this earth are bold enough to do that…. What makes you think they won’t do it to you? Jesus was sold out for 30 pieces of silver by someone who sat with him and watched him perform miracles. So the next time you find yourself asking “Why me?” Well, why not you? Think about it.

I have also learned from numerous painful experiences that facts and truth are two different things. You can have the facts and not the truth.  Fact: Man kills another man. Truth: Father shoots intruder that was attempting to rape his daughter. Fact: Woman was fired from her job. Truth: Woman was fired for numerous violations of company policy and had already been given several warnings and opportunities to improve. Now let that lesson swirl around in your brain.

You have to understand that normal fleshy human behavior is selfish. Nobody is exempt. The closer we get to God for real, the less selfish we become. Anyone who truly walks in love, doesn’t have to tell you because the evidence will be there. It doesn’t mean that anyone is perfect, but there are certain truths that manifest and can’t be hidden.

It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. ⁵ It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. ⁶ Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. ⁷ It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.

²² But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, ²³ gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law.

The TRUTH never goes on a rant, never gets defensive, and doesn’t fight back. Why? Because it’s the truth. The truth doesn’t have to prove its self nor does it have to defend its self because it will be the truth even if it’s not believed.

Love is patient, its kind. The fruit of it is peace, joy, kindness. Examine situations, examine people. Understand that hurting people hurt other people. No emotionally healthy person does things like uses social media as a personal soap box to speak about things they don’t even have the truth of nor do spiritually healthy people attempt to destroy other human beings. Only a fool speaks about matters to the public before they even (if ever) include the person they’re talking about.  I mention this Fam because it’s been done to me and I know that it’s happened to some of you. If you allow yourself to behave like them, you become no better then them.  Our victory, our growth comes in the knowing the truth and that God will fight our battles. The bible says “A man who cannot control his emotions is like a city with broken down walls”. Doesn’t mean the city is gone forever, but right now it’s not a place you need to be in because its walls are broken and there is no protection offered inside its walls.
